TVs, computers, microwaves, and other electronics should not go into an apartment dumpster. In Berkeley, the e-waste Collective at 620 Page Street accepts electronic waste. Confirm its current hours and item rules before making the trip.
Batteries, cleaners, paint, and other household hazardous waste need a different destination. Alameda County's household hazardous waste facility at 2100 East 7th Street in Oakland handles these materials. Keep hazardous products separate from furniture and ordinary junk, and check the facility's current resident requirements before visiting.
What Is the Fast Option When You Are Out of Time?

How Do You Protect Your Deposit?
